No school I want to stay home!

I am sure many parents face this on a day to day bases. This morning not feeling well getting my kids ready for school my daughter says "mommy I don't feel well" so I say ok do you want to stay home and go to see the doctor. She than replies " no thank you mommy" I laugh say "ok, let's finish getting ready. I later go to the school my son attends and on the way out there is a mom on the phone daughter crying alot saying "she is not going to school", a boy turns to his mom and says "I don't want to go either please take me home" and a third boy turns to his mom and says " see mom they don't want to go to school either, but I am not making a show or embarrassing you. I just think it a good idea we turn back now and call it a day". I was like wow. What funny no school today stories have you heard??

Venus Vs Mars...... Kids

Raising two kids of opposite sex is quite a challenge, but it is also very rewarding. My son love to sing, dance, and play sports. My daughter love make-up, hand bags, playing dress-up, as well as singing and dancing.
From time to time I watch and observe them. It is so hilarious when I see my daughter boss my son around tiny as she is and tells him to clean the room then he turn and tells her you well you are not the boss of me. My son is three years older than his sister, and due to their difference in age when they argue at each other because of their different view, my daughter brushes it away like what ever. My question is her much early does the whole Venus Vs. Mars kick in?......

Cartoons and OMG.........

     Ok so when i was young i grew up with sesame street, she-ra, he-man, etc. Just the other day at a doctor's office I was sitting there and on the tv. there were some kids watching a cartoon show. Least to say some of the content on the show had adult content and that being E rated. I was so shocked like thank god my kids were not there to see it. I don't know about you but I know there are thing I don't want my kids viewing or seeing because they are kids. Tell me what you think.......

Our government...... boy what are they thinking??

     I have been watching quite a bit more news lately and I can not get over how money hungry these government officials are. Sure let's cutback some more on the children's education. Take out the oh so necessary programs like gym, music, etc. I swear if I could I would make them our kids with out all the programs for their schooling, take away from their parents income and see if they would still impose these cutbacks.... How do you feel?.......

Careless or just dumb.........

    When traveling with my kids I always have them close by right at my side. When I see other parents walking almost a whole two blocks away from their kids it would upset me. I we walk with our kids so we can protect them. I guess some parents just do not care. I don't know, what do you think?

Do you ever wonder what were parents are thinking when naming their kids?

     Before I had my kids I would always wondered what I would name them. I was always told that in choosing
a name is planning part of your child's future. So today when I look around and hear most of the names that kids are given I can not help but wonder " What were those parent's thinking?"..........
